Give me your thought on the best motor oil..........over the past 35 years I've used several different brands of oil...........never really had a bad experiance with any brand.....

+1. My friend runs autocross on a mildly hopped up 4.6L in his 'stang and uses Chevron Delvac.

Ive been using Mobil 1 5W-30/FL820S in my tbird after I did my PI motor swap 5 years ago and motorcraft semisynthetic 5W20 in my truck since its still under powertrain warranty.

Did testing on many oils about 8 years ago for air compressor pumps. The 2 oils that stood out over all the rest where mobil 1 synthetic and amsoil. This was a life test. Those oils had less carbon buildup, lower head temperature, less ring/cylinder wear, and less oil carryover. Life of pumps increased up to 35% over standard oils and other synthetics.

I only run mobil and amsoil depending whats cheaper that day.

We use valvoline high mileage in all of our vehicles. No problems with it so far. Valvoline in all vehicles and donaldson filters in everything with an engine.

It depends on what you're using the oil in.
If it is an Ecoboost, your choices are: Motorcraft Semi syn or full syn in the proper weight; Pennzoil Platinum or Ultra because they are HTO-06 certified (this is a rather rigorous spec Acura developed for their turbo engines, and to me represents an advantage), Mobil 1 which is HTO-06 certified as well. Ford used MC semi syn in the "Hero" engine so I imagine that any semi syn meeting Ford's spec WSS-M2C929-A would be OK. There are lots of oil on the shelf that meets this requirement, it all boils down to what brand you like and how much$$$$ you are willing to spend.
The rest of the engines in Ford's line up require the M2C929-A as well but since they are not turbocharged you could go conventional, semi sun or full syn that has that spec.

This kind of question could go on forever, but the truth is if you use an oil that has Ford's required certifications you are good to go.

I agree 110% ! I run Amsoil in my motorcycle and Mobil 1 in my autos.

I would run Amsoil in my cars as well but that's not in the budget.

Amsoil is not an option for me....nobody sells it in my area.....

I don't know your current location, but I get my Amsoil from an independent distributor's house in SNELLVILLE.

He is fully stocked and even has access to the filters.

Prior to getting it from him, I would just order it online :
