An old hood latch wire works well to get the molding around the inside. Set the wire in the molding strip before putting window in. Once in, you can pull the wire along and it will pop the molding through quite easily.

I don't get stuck. I just lose traction and stop moving!

Remove the plastic bead in the center of the molding first. I seem to remember laying rope about the size of drapery rod pull cord over the left & right sides of the window frames & L/R of center over top of the window molding being installed. Used to help feed (pull into the frame) the replacement window molding. I started on a lower corner, went across the bottom, then up both sides. Probably over the top, the more rope feeds the merrier.

I did it by myself, but two people would be easier. What happens is. from the outside, it will appear that the molding has climber over the frame & seated, but it didn't. Someone on the inside can help nurse it in & tell you when you need to back track an inch or two.

Sweet now I can add my power window as well lol. I was going to start a thread on this.

Incidentally I will have a slider for sale. Nothing wrong with it not even the latch is broken.

Doubtful lol. Shipping might be high as it is not that light lol. Would rather trade it off for something else I want lol.
