Hello folks, I recently joined the forum. Currently drive a 2006 F150 XLT short bed, blue and tan with the 5.4 engine and the pimpy chrome package. This is my 3rd F150 the first was a 90 with the 302, the 2nd a 97 with the 4.6. They have been good and so has this 2006, only concern is the spark plug issue. Called the local dealer here in SC and they quoted me $880 to change out the plugs. Cost includes the fuel cleaning service $200 and 8 of the new and improved plugs $220. They said the fuel service is a must to change the plugs and if any break it will be extra.

Tough to swallow but I remain a dedicated Ford guy...happy to be onboard with the forum.
