Leveling kits
I've been thinking about putting a 2.5 in autospring leveling kit on my 06 f150. But I have been hearing that they can damage cv joints and cause other problems. Also I have been hearing that they are fine and only 3 in leveling kits can damage your truck. Anyone have any opinions or info. on this? thanks for the help in advance and if anyone has that kit on their truck please post pics.

Not to be an ***** but this question gets asked over and over. I just put a level on my truck and never had to make a post. There is a TON of information already posted on the site. Here are a couple of links I came up with real quick.

I have a daystar 2.5" on mine, no problems at all. If you have any specific questions I'll be glad to help. But do a little research you'll probably find everything you need.

Ahaha.. Well then you dont have to worry about your cv axles.... I have a 3 inch hell bent steel.... on my 08 2wd.. ... Its a tight fit.. But ive had it for close to 30k miles.. and i love it.. It sits nose high to...And the ride is a tad bit stiffer.. You have to have an allignment afterwards

Been thinking about this too, but like what was mentioned above, there is a lot of information on leveling if you just search.
If you have a 2wd like me, you might want to measure the difference between your front and back. My front is only 1 1/4" lower than my back, so the 2 1/2" kit I was going to buy would have made my front end higher than the rear.
