Default Flatbed 97-03

Okay, so I am thinking about putting a flatbed on my '02 F150 Supercab. Has anyone out there ever SEEN a 97-03 F150 with a flatbed on it?? If so, what did it look like? I have scoured the internet for any pics and can't seem to find any.... I like the functionality of a flatbed, I just can't figure out if it would look good on my body style. INPUT PLEASE!!!

I saw a single cab with a home made flatbed and it was ugly as sin... but if you get a professionally made flatbed with the headache rack and built in side toolboxes it should look pretty good

I saw one before that was professionally done, all aluminum under boxes and a dope headache rack. It was AWESOME fender linings made of aluminum and everthing, recessed tail lighting. I was sick I'm sure it cost a pretty penny. I'll probably do it once I get a new job and start making that cheese.

there are two in my hometown, and i hate to sound so negative but i cant stand them. theyre extended cab's, but not professionally done. im sure it could look alright if done a certain way, but the way ive seen it done, im not a fan. if i ever win the lottery and stay living in this town, i just might buy those guys a couple powerstrokes so i dont have to see it anymore haha

edit* - the fact that they both happen to be stupidly low to the ground is probably another big reason i didnt like it though. they look considerably lower than a 2wd, i dont know if its just cause of weight or what.

haha yeah, thatd be real nice. the trucks im talking about still have the stock half ton suspension attempting to hold up their heavy homemade flatbeds, and it makes it sag bad. i cant imagine what it looks like when theyre pulling a trailer. i think id rather not even think about it..

all steel flatbeds literally weigh a ton if not more. That's just stupid on a half ton.. hell any vehicle really. Aluminum flatbeds are the only option.

definitely. and all the people around here with them use them in situations a 3/4 ton is really needed anyways. the half ton wasnt built for what they use it for as it is, and then they add on even more weight to it with the heavy homemade flatbed. oh well though, i guess its their truck, not mine..
