Default Weathertech passenger mat slides around

I like the Weathertech floor liners in my F150 Screw but the passenger mat slides around easily. The underside is very smooth and there is no clip like the one found on the drivers side. Anyone else have this happen and do you have any suggestions for keeping it in place.

Thanks

Don't own a set, but maybe attach some of the hook side of Velcro to some spots in the bottom?

The Velcro just might work and it should provide a good hold. I will pick up some and give it a try.

I would have thought the manufacturer would have placed some form of ribbing under the mat to help hold it in place. If the velcro works then it is a simple fix.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Hope that helps. I assume it is a carpeted floor and not vinyl (otherwise you wouldn't need the mats, duh!) Only other suggestion is to use some rubbing alcohol to clean the surface before you apply the Velcro. My buddy does own a set of those mats and they are kind of slippery until they get cleaned a couple of times. Probably from the mold release and processing agents. Good luck!

Tried the Velcro (industrial strength) and it will not grab the carpet. I could try sticking the loop part of the velcro to the carpet and the hook part to the Weatertech mat but I would prefer not sticking anything to the carpet if I can avoid it.

Any other ideas ?

I applied the velcro to the plastic door sill and to the underside of the mat. Works perfectly.

Are you talking about the molded ones?
I have them in my Screw and they stay in place very nicely.

Ive not tried this in a truck, but that super thin foam you put in your kitchen drawers keeps my keyboard on my desk from sliding around. Not sure if it will grab the carpet. I have seem people put them under floor rugs in houses to keep them from sliding around on tile as well. Worth a shot I guess.

Yes the Floor Liner (digital fit) on the passenger side slides very easy and usually towards the door. The drivers side has the pin to keep it in place.

Nice liners, although I was hoping they would stay put when placed in the truck. I also have the rear liner in the Screw and it is stays in place nicely.
