Default Just finished my underseat sub box build!

Hey everybody... just wanted to show off the new box that I built for my 07 Fx4 screw. I posted about it in another thread, because the woofer I chose is pretty amazing for such a small package! As it is breaking in, it just keeps getting lower and better! Let me know what ya'll think!

Got a few pics of the box before install and after... also a pic of the sub loaded in the box (it is downfiring on the driver's side) and one of my amps mounted on the back wall.

I also had to take that pretty box and hack the back out and add a fiberglass cup to make room for the magnet assembly (similar to the foxbox caps BUT SQUARE) Mine is made of several layers of fiberglass, and then I covered it all with truck bed coating. Worked great because just a sliver shows once installed, and it is a nice tough durable coating that was also easier than carpetting the cap! It was my first time tackling fiberglass, and it was a learning experience, but I definitely think I will do more in the future! And in the future, make it look prettier with bondo after as well..... But all in all it blended in quite niceley... and gave me the required 1'' of air space behind the pole vent for proper cooling

The first is the pic just after glassing, and the second is what you see of the cup (in the yellow box).

Nice! Looks great!

Where did you put your jack? And you have those ugly rubber mats like I do. I hate those with a passion! I dont see a pic of the actual sub, though.
