2004 fuel pump replacement
My starting problem was the fuel pump. It started for a while and is being replaced .Any tricks or things to watch for? I did my 5.0 and it was easy.Thanks Greg.

Pull the bed. Its easier than dropping the tank. There is a plug on the back of the bed for the taillights. Other than that it should be a plug and play system.

This is the first I have heard of a fuel pump going out on the new model f150. The chevy and GMC trucks eat fuel pumps, always have but it is not commen in fords.

I had to replace one in an 04 Ranger with 5k miles on it. It had no warranty because it was a totaled truck that I rebuilt. The fuel tank was not affected. I drove the truck 2k miles before it went out.
