2002 4.2L misfire
I have a 2002 F150 with the 4.2L 6 cylinder. I have replaced the coil, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, air fliter and, crank position sensor but I am still getting a missfire on cylinders 3&4. Any suggestions on what to do next??
By the way the truck only has 72,xxx miles on it

Plug in a OBD II code reader and document the codes, then navigate the reader offerings and document the different pages. You can find out a wealth of information in 1/2 hour that will take you hours to try to find anyother way and save yourself a ton of $$$

try a smoke test, the 4.2 intake has a problem with the seals going out on the lower intake. it will cause it to run lean and bank and in some cases if its bad it will act like a miss mire. my 2001 4.2 did the same thing. a smoke test will show if there is any leaks in the intake.
