Default truck caught on fire. recall 05s28 Q

the other night my 2000 f 150 4.2v6 caught on fire from the problem that was in the 05s28 recall. Its pretty much totaled. I contacted ford and there sending me paper work for it and my question is what kind of resolution can i see from this and how long is it going to take to process it.

most places will do it curbside because its such an easy fix.

Good day all,

Just to be more specific for those that don't know, the cruise control circuit has a flawed design on the master cylinder... The wires that go to the master cylinder, to detect brake use when the cruise is on, has a power wire that is constantly hot (+12V)... If the sensor over heats, it can and will ignite the brake fluid... The temp fix for this is to unplug and tape off the connector NOW!! Then take it into your dealership for repairs if you use your cruise...

Cheers!!!

Good day,

It looks like 99-04 F-150's, Navigators (and the like)... If you have a full size Ford, put in your VIN and see what comes up...
