Sync/Bluetooth phone issue...
I have a 2010 F-150 Harley-Davidson and when I make or answer a call I have to turn the volume all the way up to hear at all, but if I push a button, (like a number on the keypad) its loud as heck, is thier a setting somewhere or some way of changing the default phone volume?

I had the same problem with my iphone. I'm not sure about other phones but while your phone is connected in the bluetooth mode, try to increase the volume on the phone itself, there is often a different bluetooth volume setting.

Same issue here.
I think it's part of sync. Have had same problem from day one with an LG Env phone. Now I have an iphone and it is even lower volume. I think it is a safety feature. Can be quite annoying.

I think that it is because the Sync hand free emulates a bluetooth headset. When you think about typical bluetooth headset, its a little bud in your ear, so it doesn't need alot of volume, so I think most phones lower their output volume when connected to a bluetooth.
On my LG Voyager, turning the volume on the phone all the way up helps a little, but it is still kinda quiet.

thanks, that took care of it, if you place a call then turn the volume up on the phone it says "Bluetooth volume" and mine was almost all the way down, works great now, don't have to touch the volume in the truck now.

iPhone 3gs, try turning the volume up on the side of the phone after you place a call, while connected to your truck, it's there, at least it is on mine, good luck.

when you do this does this keep me from having to too turn the radio volumn up to hear from now on or do you have to do it everytime you use the phone?does it make the volumn louder so us deaf, old folks can hear it better.
