I always thought it was 40 mph??? Fastest I've had my F-150 in 4x4, is like 35 mph....

Don't shift into 4H if your tires are spinning (ice, rain, mud) or you are above 45MPH, otherwise you can go up to highway speeds once you have 4H engaged.

never above 50, the fastest ive gone i 4wd is like 35-40 tops. wouldnt reccommend doing it for long though, unless u got deep pockets!

On a perfectly flat level surface, you could probably do the top speed of the truck... just don't turn.

i did 65 for about ten miles or so and then i was climbin a big hill not really beatin on it and my 4x4 went out. idk why cuz the next day it worked fine. weird

I've left my 4H engaged going down the high way many times going 55-60 and had no problems.

My four wheeling out here in the desert is in the hills and 4 Low. Nuts and bolts wise, the gear box don't care what speed you drive, if you are on the road and going 65 or 70 and need 4 wheel, well maybe, just maybe you need to rethink things.
