Towing Package
Does anyone know what the towing package entails on the F150? I am interested in buying a used 04 or 05 F150 which will be used to tow a travel trailer occasionally. Curious if I need to find a model with the towing package or if I can get by without it. Any thoughts?

oil cooler, trans cooler, larger radiator, bigger battery, and the hitch. Those items are specific to the V8/4R75E(W) trucks.
you can not option the reverse sensors without getting the towing package.

Per http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/f150/features/ This is exactly what the tow package includes: Includes Class IV trailer hitch receiver, 7-pin wiring harness, upgraded radiator and upgraded auxiliary transmission oil cooler (requires 4.6L or 5.4L Triton® V8); auxiliary transmission oil cooler only with 4.2L V6 A/T
Not sure where Bigger Battery or Oil Cooler apply to this package unless as a Dealer Prep Option.
