Default 1994 f150 5.0 Oxygen Sensor Question

Guys,

I swapped out my O2 sensor today and a freind ask if I did them both? Are there two? I only found one before the cat... It has me wondering now if I missed something...

Thanks,

Age is in the mind, As long as we are working on our Fords, inside we are still that teen ager in our garages still souping up and fixin our rides.

In YM 1994 they came with one or two O2 sensors. The critical one is in front of the cat. The one on the rear, if equipped, only reads as a check of the cat performance and generally never fails. If you don't see one right after the cat, you don't have but one on the truck.

Just one, the '96 and up has three. California trucks started with three in '95.

I have the same question, if i'm gonna make a true dual system on my truck what are some ways to make sure the O2 sensors will still do their job. anyone with a true dual set up that has had to work around this problem?
