How did you fix your dash rattle?
My 2009 XLT has a few maddening rattles.
So where did you find yours and how did you fix it??
Maybe we can start a thread full of fixes.

Mine is more of a rattle at low speeds hitting road bumps and stuff.
I tightened up the bolts under the top dash rubber mat, and the other bolts under the little mat just above the stereo.
Still can't find it!

Found it.
It ended up being the rear view mirror harness that is rattling.
I will head home and tape it up then put some white grease on the outside of the plastic receptor and see if it stops the rattle.
The windshield certainly does make the sound bounce around disguising the true source!

whoismoses, mine started a strange type rattle/buzzing just over the left side of my big old dumb head. Aggravated the crap out of me as I couldn't find the point of distraction. One day it stopped. I know it's a conspiracy, and any day now it will return in full force.

Mine was on the passenger side and toke a year to finally find it. The arm for the hinge of the hood on the passenger side when closed would rub the styrofoam under the windshield wipers. Peice of clothe fixed it! Now dead silent..........
