Since my Ford Tough license plate is no longer be offered by the great state of Texas, I have to choose a new one. I don't want the stock license plate since I think it's pretty ugly and none of the colors in it match my truck. Plus, I like to be a little different.

Go with the black one. I see a black Raptor around here quite often with a black Texas plate and it looks awesome. From what I hear it belongs to a retired man who owns a camp around here. I wish we had an option for a black plate in Maine.

The new plates are plain white with black lettering. Not much different from choice #3. That said, I have the "Come And Take It Plate."

So do I, but I can't keep it. It is being discontinued and I have been given notice that I have to change it when my registration rolls around for renewal.

I run critical habitat plates here in MN. (Extra $30 fee, but the state uses the cash to buy agricultural ground and turn it into wildlife refuges open to public hunting etc)

So I second the vote for a plate where the money goes to a good cause
