Default 2015 f150

Sunday I was at the marina packing things up. Had parked next to a guy w a new 13' FX4 and we started complimenting each other's trucks and I tell him that I love the 12 but am waiting for the 15 next summer. He tells me that his father is a senior F150 engineer at Ford and that it will be equipped w the new 10 speed and that GM will get it second. Also says that it will look very close to the Atlas concept. Says he works for a tier one supplier and he worked on the headlight design for the up models and the headlights look almost exactly like the Atlas too. Wish I had more time to talk to him and ask about engines but he did state that the 10 speed and weight reductions will go a long way towards the next fuel economy standards. He also spoke that Ram with the 8 speed made Ford want to leapfrog them. Thought I would pass the tidbit along...

If this is what the 2015 looks like...I'll stick to my '13.
This truck has a butt ugly front end! kinda reminds me of the new Tundra...without style.
The Atlas does look good...this truck...not so good.

I don't think so...the bumper is too thin. Lacks that sort of rugged look that a truck is supposed to have. The grille sort of serves no purpose with all the lines.

This is what happens, the proto type looks good, and the final result gets so watered down, it no longer resembles what it was meant to be. Same with 2014 GMs...wheres the styling? Tundras? what happened? and now Ford?

You guys just can't handle change... I for one think it looks pretty good, better than the new GM's.
