The Kicker system is for crewcab only. This is what I had in my supercab and am transfering to my supercrew.

The Complete systems are for 2011 and up but the Subwoofers alone are 2009 and up.

Well with the sub alone your door speakers will respond the same to the frequency changes the head unit will put out but the complete system includes a new amp matched to the new speakers higher outputs and higher/wider frequency levels.

With a DSP in the amplifier, I thought it might fix that issue. Honestly, if I didn't have most of the parts on hand already, I'd look seriously at this.

Thanks for clearing that up Levittown, It is still WAY too expensive for a 10" sub and amp. You could get a 12" with amp for half that.

You can get a 12" sub, amp, and custom fit enclosure for 250 bucks?

When I went to school half of $940 is $470, not $250. Am I missing something?

Then you have to buy 4 coax speakers and another amp too.

That is correct, but half of $ 508 is $ 254. And $ 508 is the cost of subwoofer and amplifier. The 940 price includes the subwoofer and amplifier combo, and a 4 channel amplifier with DSP to remove the rolloff, and 4 coaxials.

AT your link
Four 6 x 8 coaxial door speakers, powered by a 4.1-channel digital signal processing amplifier.(Not shown)
