Hey guys new member here, ive recently purchased a 2013 screw and wanted to install the clazzio seat covers. I for the life of me thou cant figure out how the rear backrest comes off so i can attach the seat covers to them properly. Ive viewed youtube vids and looked at post but no seem to be on the 13.....is there something special on the 13? ....what do i need to do to remove them?....thx jason.

There are a number of threads and videos on this subject around the forum...but the process is this:

Pull up seat cushion. Remove rear seat headrests.

With the seat cushion up, the seat back comes forward a bit.

Look down behind the seat back and you will see the latch that holds the seat back in place. The latch is located directly below the outside post for the headrest.

A silver pin on the side of the latch needs to be pulled up to release the seat back.

You can get to it with your finger...or slip a box end wrench on it an pull up.

To re-latch the seat back into its upright position, slide the horizontal bar in the bracket on the cab back wall into the top of its slot. This will help line up the seat back latch.

Take your time....watch for sharp edges (I gave some blood when first doing this.)

Ok thx, ill try that....never heard of a pin. All the vids ive watched and fourms i read were all pre-13 and gave different tips from 2x4s wrap in towels to just pulling up on the seat....ill look for a pin when i get home....tyvm

Here's what the seat back latch and rear cab wall bracket look like.

The silver pin on the side of the seat back latch is the one you want to pull up to release.

It is the exact same on the 13s. Took me a few tries to figure it out but once you get it its easy.
