Well up here in MN Vehicles go for $180 a ton for scrap. To me its not worth the 900 bucks. I would see if the what the box looks like underneath the bed liner, some times water gets trapped between that and the bed and rusts through. If it were me, I would just go to the salvage yard and buy the parts I needed. I really do not think its worth the 900 he is asking

500 bucks cash money. Wave it in his face. If he won't take it walk away. It's not worth more than prolly 1500 running and driving. It's totaled now an only good for parts I don't see much over 500 in the parts you want. Tell him you only need a few parts and they aren't worth 900.
I sold an f250 about that year that was a 2wd and got about 300 for it. And that was with all the **** in the bed

the bed is $400 around here alone. its barely worth the $900 if you wanted to make lil money for your time (i know your getting parts off it) id do what the others have said, wave $500 in his face and hope he bites, if not, walk away.

also has a great story behind it, if that was my son he would be walking to school from now on lol.

hhmmm his son decided to go muddin and there is no mud on the truck LOL there is something he aint tellin. go look at it and see... insurance would have paid him for it and he decided to buy it back so chances are he wont take less than 1,500.00 for it.

offer to buy the parts you need and unless you can pick it up cheap...PASS.

a front hit like that can booger the trans and engine and you dont want to put out the trans only to have someone come back and hassle you overit even if you sell it as -is

Yeah. Mudding usually results in....mud. I think someone was careless or drunk and hit a guard rail. Would mind having that rear bumper though lol.

Hell. You guys are crazy. In that shape its like $700 here. I wouldnt mind paying 6 for it and i could still make money. And use the parts i wanted. I would even see about fixing it. Might be all it needs a front clip and maybe a front diff. I see mud on the bottom you can only get into so much mud with them tiny tires.
