Default should I?

Im replacing the exhaust manifolds on my 1995 f150. I have a 4.9l inline six with a two piece exhaust manifold. I understand that I shouldnt use a manifold gasket for this application, and Im cool with it since there wasnt any gasket on there to begin with. i am worried abut the head-to-manifold surface join however. just to be on the safe side....should I at least squeeze a bead of that "ultra high temp copper RTV" stuff on the mating surfaces? Or should I leave it dry mated?
