I was wondering the same thing. My trucks got a bit of a ruff vibration when idling.. Just bought the truck so it wouldn't suprise me to need a good tune-up haha. Good plugs/wires to use... and where to buy/price? Mines also a 2004 XLT 4.6L V8, with 137k miles.

stated above...these trucks dont have wires..assuming just use what you have as the boot and spring...just buy plugs...roughly 25 bucks on the high side for all 8 plugs....but you may need to buy new boots when changing them due to them ripping apart...some do and some dont..some people are lucky without replacing the boot and some have bad luck and they rip. haha

Ah, cool. In that case looks like this weekend or next... spark plug change , Glad I stumbled across this tonight. I was thinking I'd have to save up for a few weeks minimum to save up enough for plugs+ wires haha :P. Awesome!!! But I would prob. want to upgrade my boots at one point or another to get better quality ones under the hood.

boots would roughly be between 35 and 45 bucks. and plugs 25 bucks. but all worth it to have a smooth running truck
