As long as it all stays in the mountains that's all I care about! Haha. My final trip last year it was like driving summer roads there and back, and it snowed a metre over the weekend in Banff. 4 days straight of powder days Damn I can't wait for this season to start up!!!! I'm getting antsy.

Had some snow in Rocky Mountain House yesterday and the day before. Back in Lac La Biche it snowed all day and just stopped a little while ago. Fitting considering it was the last day of operation for air tanker bases in Alberta.

Anyway, heading into Bonnyville to complete the deal for my new truck tomorrow morning. I've been on the hunt for one since April so it took a long time to get to this point but I am happy with what I chose and I know I'm going to really enjoy it. I went with a 2012 F150 5.0L Sterling Grey with a 5.5 box. For extra bells and whistles it has the luxury package, Nav package, and a power moonroof and power sliding rear window.

For modifications I am getting a spray-in liner done immediately at the dealership. Then a TruXedo roll-up tonneau cover, put on the Go Rhino brush guard and Rigid Duallys, DeeZee tailgate assist, and probably will end giving the badges a treatment of Plasti-Dip Smoke.

The brush guard, Rigid flood lights, the Recon light strip (probably).

Might take the tonneau cover off and sell it (it will not fit my new truck).

I've only ever seen it at Home Hardware. If they don't have it in stock they can order it in.
