94 F150 dashboard removal
Hi,
I have a 94 F150 that I need to remove the dashboard or at least move it enough to be able to have access to the wiring harness behind it all on the driver's side. Been looking at both a Haynes, and a Chilton books, but they either don't give enough information or don't match what I have. I have my steering column resting on my seat, and a bucket of more screws than I care to count, and the dash is still semi-solid. Would anybody know of a good ~~EASY~~ way to remove the dash?
I thought of a sledge hammer, but that probably defeats the whole purpose.
Thanks,
Bob

When i took the dash out of my 95 parts truck it was a pain. You need to look everywhere and the ones the stumped my were where the the kick panels come intact with the piller panels and one that holds the ash tray mount. Did you take off all the trim pieces and everthing off the dash

Pretty much everything. Didn't do the radio yet. The person who had the truck before me put this radio in somehow. No *****, front plate or anything. Just sits in the hole, but will not slide out. Must be attached from the back???
Got the 2 ashtray screws.
I'm starting to get a little anxious about having to put this all back together, AND WORK!!!

It's a Canadian thing eh!
If the radio is after market, probably going to need the locking keys that come with them to slide out the radio, it prevents people from stealing the head unit.
Otherwise you may have to push back the tabs on the sleeve for the radio in the dash.
