in alberta, canada... there's a law called "distraction law". meaning if a cop can prove that you're being distracted by too many buttons, you're paying for it.

for instance, if you reach over to play with your garmin, and a cop sees it... big fine.

so, while the dash looks pretty... it's also gonna be pretty tempting to others.

i perfer my 2010's dash.

We get it...you hate chrome and wood grain. Obviously, you are not the target audience for the Lariat. That's why they make all the other trims available.

like the display on the standard radio, don't like the buttons on the side of the screen. I do like the rest of the stack though. Maybe that would be interchangeable?

+1... I like my 2010 dash as well....

But maybe by the time I decide to trade, the newer looks will grow on me.

I like the new standard display but I hate the layout. The 09-12 looks much nicer. Ford no longer offers sync, they use myford. I wonder how much of an improvement it is.

Agreed......... Layout looks to busy for my liking. But, I would have to experience it before condemming it. The 09-12 was a very clean look, not so much of a distraction.
