Default Best cold air intake for Ecoboost?

hey guys im wanting to get a new cold air intake system for my ecoboost and i've been looking at all the different brands but im not sure which one is the best to get. I'm leaning more towards the airaid because its cheaper but the injen also looks very nice. Just wondering if you guys have any suggestions for me on which one is the best and is reliable. thanx

can get it for $300 shipped? thats about the same price as the airaid so i'd definitely be going with the injen if thats the case. where can i get it for that price?

I have the Airraid and like it. You can get it much cheaper than 300. Pm AJUSA on this site and he will hook you up. According to Airraid they did testing which included the extra tube that the Injen uses and found no noticeable improvement in performance. I, like you researched the crap out of these before I made a decision. Good luck

Ajusa, using their price matching policy.

The AFE stage 2 looks very promising. You may want to consider that as well.

LOL, you didn't search for this title I guess. I started the same thread back in March! I've come to the conclusion everyone has their favorite, you pretty much have to take a close look at them all and decided on you own. BTW, the Air Raid can be had for about $216 at AJUSA with the Forum discount.

I have an Ingen that I purchased used (barely, the filter looks 100% new) but it was for a 2011. They changed the Ingen CAI for 2012 which is what I have. I was planning on posting it for sale here but if you are interested let me know.

No you can hear the differance the only differance in performance with the ecoboost is the sound. the ecm will not let any more air into the engine regardless of intake and the factery system is a true cold air intake unlike some after mkt systems that draw some or all of the air from under the hood. If you like the drone or whistle then go for after mkt but you will not see any performance gain.
