How to remove interior door panels. 09+
There may be other threads on this, but I'm extremely bored at work. So here we go
Tools you will need. 1/4" drive socket set. And a hook type tool.(I got mine at Lowe's tool section) You may want a small flat head screw driver as well. I just used the hook tool.
On the bottom of the interior panel there are 2 6mm screws. (I only took a pic of one of them)
Then, here's where you'll need the hook tool. There's a plastic cover over the screw in the door pull. (You may want t use a small flat head screwdriver here, if you're scared of ruining anything) its an 8mm screw.
Here behind the door handle is another spot you'll need the hook tool. To reveal another 8mm screw.
Then you'll need to pull up. Straight up. As in toward the sky, not out!!!

I grabbed here...with 2 hands(one in pic, because I was taking the pic with the other)
Should look like this when pulled up.
Nxt you'll need to pop out the handle. There are 2 tabs you can just push with your fingers. Then you can feed it through the door.
Next unplug all harnesses. I was able to unplug everything without popping out the switch panel. You can do this though if its easier. Just push up from the bottom of the window switches. There's a tab you push on each plug, then you can pull the plug out.
Finished removing the door
Here is a pic of the "clips" that hold the door in. And why you need to pull up^^^!!!
Reinstall is obviously the reverse as this. But be sure to line up your lock rod properly before sliding the door back down into place. You can lose it. Or push it down accidently. This can be a PITA. But be patient.

Awesome I am thinking of installing puddle lights in the plastic door facing on the bottom to shine on the ground and running board when you open the doors. Now just to find which wire to the mirror park lamp is hot I guess.

It is MUCH easier to line up the lock rod if you remove the plastic insert/tube the lock rod goes through from the door panel. Just push up on the little plastic tube from underneath the door panel and it will push out. You now have a much wider hole to view the lock rod through!
