Engine Temperature Sender
My temp gauge has been reading dead cold even though my truck (91 F150 5.0) has been running fine and heat works.
It seems like the culprit is the engine temperature sender. I tested the gauge and circuit by jumping the wire to ground - the gauge goes all the way up to Hot no problem.
My sender has a push on connector but the senders at Rockauto all look like the connector is threaded to accept a nut.
Will a push on connector work with the threaded version? If not, is there a part I am not seeing or do I need to put a different connector on the end of the wire?
Thanks!

There's 2 temp senders. One for the EEC and one for the guage. The guage sender contact looks like a threaded stud maybe 1/4" that the wire connector pushes onto.
