The MPG on my 302 - stock - with 3.55 gears and an AOD - is a crappy 11mpg in town on a good tank. I haven't had mine on the highway yet to know what its highway mpg is.

What are you 302 guys getting? In town and highway, and what, if any, mods have you done?

I am getting around 12-13 highway mileage going about 60 with a ext cab long bed, and my truck could deffinatly use a tune up, I have straight pipes, thats about it, the first cat is gutted, the second cat was removed, there is a short section of 3 inch pipe that goes from the first cat to the second cat, and from there it goes from 3 inch to 2 1/4 pipe with the big gap welded up and no muffler side dumped with a 7 inch tip before the rear tire, but it will soon be 3 inch all the way to a turn down tip

My best bud has a 95 extended cab 4x4 with stock tires and I'll bet he aint touched it in the 4 years since hes gotten it... as in tuned it up... he gets 20mpg city and 24 highway... and best of all its Factory MAF OBD-I

My short bed extended cab gets 12-13. Sometimes less depending on my mood (pissed and flooring haha). Only mod I have is flowmaster 40 single in dual out muffler and no cat. My highway isn't much better because I tend to run between 80-85 (I hate interstates and try to get off em quicker)

im running 32's about 6 inches of lift and a five speed with one cat and dual exhaust with a recent tune up i pull about 10mpg out of it on the highway with 3.55 gears 4x4

I drive slow... and get 11mpg city. LoL This thing needs a tuneup bad I assume. And its gonna be a few weeks before I have the money to tune it up :-(

14-15 mpg : 64 miles daily with 50% at 55-60mph, 25% at 65-70mph and 25% mixed city.

Gas mileage what is that haha my 92 with 6 inch lift, 35's, 3inch straight pipe from the pre cat back dumps out right before the rear wheels and i think i get 8 in town and 10 hwy if i am lucky, and thats with a fresh tune up including replacing timing chain and all...
