What type antifreeze does my truck have
02 5.4,,the manual says either Yellow or Green. Whats actually in it, is dark maybe brown tint.
I baught it used with 123k, called ford and asked what type. They couldnt tell me. Just said that I needed to put the exact same in it.
Well, it needs a change. And im scared of captavation.
Can I flush and replace with 50/50 all makes/models?
Any help would be great.

Thank all of you, for the help.
I ask because im the type of guy that likes to have my new part/fluids, on the bench ready before I tear into it. And this is my next to-do.
Last week I changed the plugs, after 2days of google serching ford plug issues. Yea, you can say I was nervous.
Thanks again.

im glad you brought this up... I was uncertain too... I did some looking and called the ford dealer.. They told me the best thing would be to drain, flush, and put G05 in my 99 4.6 f150 .. I just bought it as well, and it has 122k .. I haven't actually had time to do it yet.. so, if any of you think I should not use G05 let me know.. the NAPA guy was like eh. just put our NAPA mix with whatever stuff in and you'll be good. but, I want to do things right.. and so I opted for the 17 dollar G05 ZEREX, flush and a thermostat.
