step by step head gasket
Has anyone ever come across a step by step on tearing down a 302 for headgasket replacement. There has to be a step by step out there somewhere, still not sure that is my problem but if it is then I'll be doing it myself with a good buddy who know more than i do.
Thanks

Look around used books stores, any old ford with 302 will help you a lot. Run a pressure test of your cooling system, that will tell you a lot. I used to have a stack of them way back into the 70's, donated them to goodwill when I last moved. Just didn't have the need anymore.

cant you order the factory manuals through the dealership? I always heard these were the best way to go. I wonder if Chapters or Coles has anything, I did get a gift card for christmas.

Go here:

Depending on the age of your truck, you may or may not be able to find all of the manuals. They occasionally will have some available for reprint, but many of the older ones are old stock, so once they're gone, they're gone. Otherwise you can always check eBay.
