I need to replace my sway bar links. Seems like a pretty cheap and easy job. While im in there, is there anything in particular I should check out?
(I do a lot of motorcycle work, kinda new to 4 wheeled stuff)
Right now, I have no intention of taking the wheels off.

Does the forum favor a particular brand of links, is there stuff to stay away from?
Im always tempted to go with affordable.

stabilizer link replacement is cake. no need to jack the truck up or anything. (i did a how-to where i stated the truck must be lifted, i lied) i would go with moog, motorcraft, or energy suspension. while youre under there check out your pitman and idler arms. give a tug on the center link and see if either arms has a good amount of movement(with 25 lbs of force they should have SLIGHT movement) you can check tie rod and ball joint boots to see if they are torn. check your tie rod to make sure they dont have any up and down movement (just pull down and push up on the tie rod, should not have any play). Grease any part (ball joints, tie rods, idler arm) that has a zerks fitting. if they are OEM parts they probably wont have fittings.

looks like first of all I need a car mechanics jargon dictionary.

Anyhow, I found a Haynes repair manual under the seat as an early christmas present.
From what I can see, there's nothing to it.
