biggest tires for the stock ride height?

Default biggest tires for the stock ride height?

im looking in to new rims and tires and found some rims and tires but the trucks at a stock ride height, its the 2000 f150 4.6 4x4, and the tires i wanna get are 32 high by 9 wide, think they'll fit? or will i have a problem?

no problem,the biggest you can put on a stock height 2000 f150 truck is a 285 which is about 32.8" tall and as far as width I am not sure but I am sure you will not rub with a little 9"

i got a set of tires for my 04 from wxmcpo on the forum and there 18'' rims and at least 1.5'' taller than the tires that came with the truck and dont have a problem in the world!

you can 305's or 33.12.50 with no rubbing

are you sure...305s???...I thought you got to cut the trim for 305s...I think 285s is the biggest.

285 = the width of the tire, not the height....285 is in milimeters, and the height is basically the overall tire size....the profile (ie: low profiel tires) is the "55" part, which is in incriments of 5 just about always....therefore, in my case on my tires its a 275/55 R20....and if u measure the tire its a 32.1" tire....sorry, just had to put that in the air, no offense...

I understand how the tire sizes work boys....I should of said 285/75/16 is about 32.8" tall..........I am so sorry and will never let it happen again..ha ha

Thumbs up 1998 ford f150... biggest tires

I have a 1998 4x4 F150 and i was wondering if anyone knows the tallest and widest tires i can put on it without it rubbing... ive heard 33 12.5 on 16's but i just wanted to make sure
