Awesome! Good luck, I hope all goes well. If there's anything else I can help with let me know.

I would like to add the oem backup camera in my 2011 as well.
I have the factory nav and moon roof. I've read through "the" huge thread on this topic, and bits and pieces at other sources...
I'm just a little worried that something would go wrong, and I'm more worried that the dealer won't flash the nav (I'd like to use the nav for the screen instead of the review mirror).
It might be unfounded concern, but I could see being stuck with a camera system that doesn't work

My old back up camera kept flappin her gums everytime I make her get out to guide me.
The last time she finished hookin the trailer up, I left her, so I think I'll be looking into one of these, too.

The camera and emblem would be the same as I posted above but you would need different harnesses or you own wires routed to the nav. screen. However from the research I've done that nav. screen will be a challenge. You either have to find a dealer willing to reflash it or from my understanding there is an aftermarket thing call "Sync lock pick" that will let you do it. When I did mine I forgot to order the harness that goes through the tailgate so to get it faster I went to my local dealer where I bought the truck. Anyway I got talking with the guys there and they said that there shop added a couple of cameras before management decided there was too much liability (incase the tech screwed up i guess) and so now they won't do it anymore. They also told me some radio shops can reflash the nav. screen but since my truck does not have the nav. screen it didn't make any difference to me.
I was thinking that dealerships might be hard to sway into flashing the nav! I guess that lockpick item would be good b/c you can also play dvds while driving (i wouldn't be watching - but the passengers wouldn't mind it on our long trips to Green Bay)
There seems to be a lot of posts on this topic - and can get a bit confusing... I might take this task on at some point though, it would be nice to back up close(r) to things w/o worrying about hitting them...and of course the obvious benefit of easily hitching up my towables.

Now it's just a matter of finding out EXACTLY what parts I need...

I would probably just go the lockpick route to be honest. I bet Ford would charge $100 just to flash IF they were to even agree to do it in the first place! That's almost enough to convince me to spring for the lockpick and get the dvd capability as well... Though warranty concerns are there with the lockpick (maybe just remove before taking it in if issues arise?)

Since you also have a 2011 this is everything for the tailgate, but beyond that I don't know for sure.
