Default Dog Cage for Bed of truck?

Does anyone know where I can buy a dog cage for the bed of my truck or easily secure an existing cage to the bed? My dog is too hairy to ride in the cab and jumps out of the bed as soon as he can.

Thanks for the help guys

My flat coated retriever was like that. I leashed him to a tie-down one day, only to see him strangling himself in the rearview mirror.

So I decided to use 2 straps with the traveling plastic cage that I had. Lots of protection from the sun, well ventilated. And by using 2 straps instead of one, he couldn't chew on the strap...!

Dog kennels and crates can fit in the bed and strapped down to keep it from sliding. A campershell topper (dunno what its called) also works, it also comes in handy for other things.

These work too! Prices vary depending on what you want. Odd, I had no clue Remington made dog cages till now.

This is what I use. Plastic kennel, well ventilated but shady. I have a collapsible metal crate, but that gets too hot in the Texas sun and provides no shade. The straps wrap around the front of the crate and attach at the two tie-downs near the cab of the truck. The straps don't go inside the crate so there's no chance of a bored dog chewing them.

On short trips, I just throw him in the bed. He used to try to jump out, but that just takes some training and patience. And when all else fails, drive around at 5mph on a dirt road somewhere until he jumps out. He'll be sorry he did and learn his lesson

Absolutley hate people that leave their dogs unsecured in the bed.
As stated before a crate is easy to strap to your tie downs and gives your dog protection from the elements.

I know they make tool boxes that have dog kennels built in. Lots of money.

Cheapest route would be to get some seat covers or blankets. Bed cages can get prices depending on the size of your dog.

That's what we did with our 70 lb golden, shimmy.

Why? An unsecured dog flying through the windshield is just as bad as an unsecured dog flying through the rear window.
