Where would I find if I have a 3v? Is there a code in the vin? I have a 5.4 but my truck is a 2000, I was told I don't need the tool.

This set is what i'm looking at getting, buying eight, just in case I have bad ones in future

You won't need the tool if you have a 2000 5.4. Should be a simple spark plug job. 2004 was the first year they went from 2 valves per cylinder to 3 and that's when they changed to spark plug to the faulty design.

I have two coolers I'm bringing should be plenty of room in them if any needs their beer on ice! Happy to share
