Default 92 f150 5.0 losing power

I have a 92 f150 5.0 with only 90,000 original miles. My check engine light is on and I thought it was just a bad sensor because I have a dual exhaust with no cats. Whenever the check engine light is on my truck runs fine but as soon as my check engine light goes off it seems like I barley have any power when getting on the gas. I did a full tune up and it's still doing it and I'm not sure what it could be

Did you try, I don't know, pulling codes? Your check engine light comes on for a reason and even if it doesn't come on you can still have codes. Vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting 101: if your vehicle has some sort of OBD system that you can pull codes from, pull codes from it. There is a sticky here that says how to do it "manually" or you can buy a ford OBD I scanner anywhere from $20-$30 usually. Some parts stores have it.
