Default popping sound 1992 302 v8
Started a couple weeks ago. Anytime I press the accelerator when in motion there is no power and after a couple of seconds I hear a popping sound from under my feet. As soon as I let it return almost to idle or to idle I start gradually picking up a little speed but not very much. Any ideas info or suggestions are welcome. 1992 F150 XLT Standard cab 4wd 302 5.0L V8 dual tanks. Thanks in advance.

Pull codes. You could be backfiring or one of your cats might be getting clogged, ignition system or fuel issues, who knows? Pull codes.
