Default Brake pad options for towing?

The pads that came with the truck are ok for daily driving. Has anyone used anything other than the OEM pads? Do you have any suggestions.

I drive 30% as a daily driver and 70% hauling my 30' trailer, about 8000lbs.

Thanks in advance

You could start with TireRack.com to see what brake pad options they have.
The Hawk LTS pads seem to have the best rating for stopping power.

Any ebc pad. If you want something really good get ebc yellow.

Yellow is better than lts. But the green and lts make less brake dust. Both are great pads tho, i have green ebcs on my truck and hawk lts on my wifes car.

Would recommend either or.

Dust is always a bother, but something we live with. I'd rather have the better stopping power. Awesome advice. Thanks.

No problem. I would also suggest to use ebc rotors too. They are great with the pads if your budget allows.

Both are great but the yellows are great for towing.
