I was wondering, can too much oil (2 quarts) cause codes indicating cam shaft timing issues and severe shaking? I'm trying to verify what my mechanic is telling me. I had my oil changed just prior to it breaking down and $2,000 later he is saying all the damage was from a Jiffy Lube adding too much oil. JL denies this would happen.

I have a stock exhaust at the moment. I plan to add CARB shortie headers and a 2 3/4 in cat back. Not sure if Ill replace the cat or not. I guess it depends on price.

Do you have highflows on your truck, that are CRAP certified?
