How have you liked your ssi tow tune. I received one about two weeks ago but I am having issues with it. Just driving down the road with no load it gets bad mileage as it seems the thing boosts all the time. I headed up a hill today and hit 244 degrees with just a couple dirt bikes. Now the hill is 12% grade and 4 miles long but my 5 star tow tune runs 50 degrees cooler trann temp and gets 3 mpg better going down the road. Another issue I had is when going up the hill I was getting turbo surge bad to where it would lose all power and than come back a couple seconds later. I like the low end power but this thing has a lot of issues. I know you have run it a lot, how do you like it.

I see that you have the Wagner IC and have used it for heavy towing...have you seen a big improvement over the stock IC? I'm about to pull the trigger on an IC (more for performance and reduction of heat soak in stop and go traffic) and like to design of the Wagner over the others.

    What are your thoughts?

    Thanks!

The High Country feels like home when we step into it. Having a full size queen makes for better sleeping. With the Max Tow package, it pulls and handles well. I haven't weighed it yet, but I can feel the added weight loaded for camping vs towing it home from the dealer. I got between 9 and 10 mpg on the one trip I've taken, but I do not exceed 60mph.

Just purchased the 2012 F-150 Platinum w/Ecoboost and was looking to see what people are buying in regards to 5th wheelers. How are you liking your Cougar High Country and how well does your F-150 handle it? Looks like a real nice RV.
