Good morning. 1st of all, thanks for your response. We live on some acreage just outside of Fulton, Mo. I retired from the Nuclear Plant near Fulton in 09' and the wife retired from their in 13'.

I have decided to go with the 14" Magnaflow and leave the resonator on, like yours. I am going in Monday the 25th to have it installed. With the stock muffler the 5.0 just gives a hint of what it could sound like. I am hoping the wife can live with it. The shop is only charging me $140 for about any size Magnaflow with installation so worst could happen is to have to spend another $140. In 2008 I bought a new Mustang Bullitt and kept it for a few years and the wife loved to drive it, so she may be ok. She only rides in the 13' 5.0 truck most of the time as claims our 12' Ecoboost SCrew, that we bought to pull our travel trailer, as her vehicle.

Goodmorning Redfred. I saw your post on the F150 forum about having a 14" Magnaflow on your truck. I looked up your profile and you seem to be similar age to me. I am retired too. I just bought a 2013 with 5.0 and am interested in giving it a little sound. I am wanting sound on acceleration but want to hear the radio and and carry on a conversation when cruising. Question, if you bought a new truck today, would you go with the 14" again or go with an 18" or bigger? I would want to leave the resonator on. Thank you in advance for your time. Cemo (Al Johnson- Central Mo)
