Hey man, I don't know if you are still on here but I came across your name that you had done a 4x4 front swap on your 2wd. I have an 08 2wd Sport that im wanting to do about an 8 inch lift on. Looking at your pics of what you did I am basically wanting to do the same. Just curious as to what you had to do and about how much it ran you. I have been looking at the 4x4 lift kits and don't really see much difference in the 2wd kits.

Oh and it won't hold an alignment for crap!!!! The alignment seems to be constantly shifting slightly but all the other steering components seem good. I see u do a lot of work on ur truck and just figured u may have some insight on this problem

That's good to hear! I've had my lift on about 2 years and recently it's started to beat the crap out of me on these rough Virginia back roads. I've replaced the outer tie rod ins and the inner look good. Upper ball joints are newer and moog. Lowers need replacing but that shouldn't be affecting the steering wheel that bad when I hit bumps. The sway bar ends are greeting replaced this weekend but they aren't to bad. Do u have any ideas on something I might have missed that would be causing the wheel to shimmy so bad on bumps?

It'll be worth it! You've prolly done more in 2WD then a lot of 4WD's! Well maybe not me :P

It would be bad if you did a 4Wd conversion! Any plans for that? And thanks! I'd rather have a F150 for a DD but I love my Jeep. It'll be turned into a trial rig one day.
