I have a 2007 ford f150 4.6 when towing or going up hill the 4wd tries to engage, i read in previous posts that it could be many things, here is what I have replaced so far. both wheel actuators, vacuum solenoid near the battery and the complete vacuum harness, and still have the same problem. Anyone have any other suggestions as to what the problem is??

    Hey Sir

I added a post to the IWE diagnostic thread you created. Can you take a look at it when you are able? Thanks

I saw your write up on the iwe system, great info. I need to know where to hook the vacuum up to start, and what size hose do I need? Also what way does the vacuum pull?

Good morning sir, have been reading your post on how to diagnose 4x4 problems. I have a question. If the tc motor moves between 4hi and 4lo but not into 2hi, could the motor be the problem?? Have checked all fuses that I can think of...

Also if the tc motor does not shift into 2hi, will the IWE solenoid still operate? I installed a new solenoid and still don't get vacuum coming out of the solenoid in either 2hi or 4hi...

Thanks for any help you might be able to give. Am about out of ideas.

    Hello,
I am about to do a RF269 E-Fan/DC Controller conversion on my '98 F150. I really like how you put your controller on your washer reservoir. What did you use to secure it? Did you use epoxy of some sort, or did you drill hole to mount it? Thanks for any info! Dennis

Posted a general thanks for everyone's help but wanted to thank you personally for steering me in the right direction on my new 'neutral in overdrive' issue. Much appreciated. Tim

Victory makes absolutely awesome bikes! I know a (hot) chick that rides an 8-Ball. It's a tad bit low for me but sounds awesome. I can't get over the sound of a Twin. Simpy love 'em. I'm 6'1 and 190 so I'm just about the max a crotch rocket can handle. Actually all the newer Jap rockets are meant for smaller dudes no taller than 5'8". When I retire my F4i I'm going to switch over to something American with a bad ass Twin. I'm getting too old to be using a crotch rocket for long cruises!

Thanks for all your help brother, you're an awesome contributor to this forum.

Weather here is too poor to ride in. If you're still riding, ride safe and don't be a squid. When the weather gets better I'll be out. Got me an R1 for zipping around town and an F4i for long distance cruising.
