Was looking for a good mechanic shop in the BR area and came across a thread where you said you work on the side in Laplace. Are you still around doing work on f-150s?
Bought my first one 3 weeks ago from a dealer in BR, 2007 king ranch, 2 days ago was on interstate and had the issue of IWE try to engage on the driver side. heard a whole lot of sounds I didn't want to hear. Looked at videos and info here, did some troubleshooting and have vacuum at both wheels. driver side has much less vacuum than passenger
Hoping just a leak in the line, but possible it's the IWE. That's something I'd rather not change out myself right now. If the IWE does need changing, I want to throw on a leveling kit too. Called the dealer, they said they couldn't look at it for another 2 weeks and would take 4 more days to finish diagnosing it. So I'm looking for alternatives which led me here. If you don't do this stuff anymore, is there a shop you can recommend around the BR area?

I wired my turn signals on mirrors to my taillight wires. That way they light up with brake lights and turn signals.

Good looking truck! Did you put the 4x4 shocks on in the rear as well? Hows the truck ride? Thanks

    Z7What,
Thanks for the information on your light set up(fog lights). I guess my question is have you had a chance to use them in winter type weather, rain, snow, fog. I do not know if the "fog" lights on our trucks are a true fog light pattern or a driving light pattern. My area here in Eastern Washington gets bad fog, heavy rain and snow. I used to have a Jeep with PIAA fog lights and they used to cut the fog great.
