It ain't no thang but a chicken wang, Its been a rule for awhile. We have a few members that has lost loved ones to street racing accidents.. And they were not even part of the street racing. Just an innocent individual.

No harm no foul though, I just closed it.

Sorry it took so long to get back you you. I had one of the body shops paint it for me to match the outside. If you would like more info, I can ask the artist, and get back to you. Thank you for the inquiry!

Not sure I understand. Do you have black plastic tow mirrors now and want to swap your black cap for my chrome? That is what I had in mind. I want to retain my tow mirrors, just want black plastic caps (not PTM black). I have to take my chrome caps off the tow mirror, I assume it is very similar to the standard mirror disassembly process. I don't want to remove the mirrors from the door, just the caps (and mirror glass itself to get to the caps).

I considered taking off the chrome caps, sand it down and paint it flat black, not sure how well it would hold up.

Love your mirrors! I assume you Tow something and have a use for them; otherwise I would ask if you were interested in loaded Supercab mirrors! Have you ever used those CIPA slip overs?
