Great write up on the 4R70W removal. I have an 02' F150 Supercrew 4.6. This will be my first trans removal. Have always done my own engine work but am smart enough to know I dont have the skills or knowledge to rebuild trans. So, Im pulling mine out today so I can drop it off to be rebuilt. Was hoping to find out what size bolts/nuts so Im not fumbling with a bunch of sockets trying to find the 1 that fits. Your thoroughness is gonna save me from cursing all day. Haha

Hi there, my name is Ted Griffin, I am in Phoenix AZ. I have been lookiing at your post about the 4r70w swap to 4r100. My truck is a stock 4x4 5,4 liter with the 4r70w. I put a harley davidson supercharger setup on it along with engine wiring harness. I am having issue with the tranny now and was wondering if you have time for a few questions. Any help would be appreciated.

If I change my PCM with another from the same year and engine will I need to get it reflashed? I've got a 98 4.6 4X4 Vin W. Also, do you know approximately what the dealers charge for reflashing>?

Hey do you have any idea where I can find an older alpine cde 7893/94 head unit? OR one similar with the same bass engine and built in amp? I have been checking ebay but can only seem to find the faceplates. Any help would be appreciated.
