    you replied to my post on the fx4 cluster change..and i was wondering why would they have to program it?

    You replied to my post 4.6 vs 5.4. I have been looking at used, cannot afford new, regular cab short box flareside pickups and thoroughly confused about engine size. I have a heavy truck for towing. The short box would be around town and trip truck. I am concerned about fuel economy but don't want to lack in power nor be disappointed in what I choose. I either tow or haul my atv and travel the highway to get from place to place. I want to have enough power to pass quickly and safely and be able to cruise the highway comfortably without constant downshifting. Can you offer some more in depth opinion on your truck with the 4.6 in regards to power and fuel efficiency? If you don't want to bother I understand.
