Default Backup Camera Wiring

I am installing a backup camera that utilizes a license plate bracket. What would be the best way to thread wire from my head unit to my license plate?

Run it along the driver’s side inner frame rail following the trailer brake/tail light wiring from the firewall on back.

When I installed the backup camera, I ran the wires along the frame rail following the wire harness to the back of the truck.

Agreed, run it along the rail with the factory wiring and use zip ties along the way to keep it nice and tidy and protected out of the way of moving parts.
